The contract formed by the kiss binds the Sekirei to the Ashibaki and helps them unlock their full potential of power that they have to use during elimination battles with other Sekirei. The humans share a genetic trait and are able to make an official contract by kissing the Sekirei. The two terms refer to one of the sets of mysterious humans. On the day of his second failure in the college entrance exam, he unexpectedly meets a girl out of nowhere named Musubi.Īs the story continues, it comes to his knowledge that she is a “Sekirei” and has chosen him as her “Ashibaki”.
The story revolves around the 19-year-old Minato Sahashi in the year 2020 who is an extremely intelligent guy who excels in studies but lacks self-confidence which leads to him failing the college entrance exam twice.
